Welcome Back to the Park!  

Hello students and parents! My name is Shirley Coleman, and I am your student’s middle school Science teacher. As I share with Students, learning is the student’s responsibility. My purpose is to Challenge & Facilitate their Learning & Understanding. I need their and your assistance to help them be successful & excel, as my mission is to provide the best Science instruction I can for your child to learn. 

Student learning is a collaborative effort – student, parent, teacher, school. Each of us must do our part to achieve the desired results. The primary responsibility is on the student. Each student must do their part: class participation; assignment completion; and asking questions. 

Expectations. I expect a Solid Effort every day! I request SUCCESS. I encourage EXCELLENCE. The result is Understanding when students pay attention to instruction, participate in class, ask questions, complete assignments, and put forth their best academic effort.
