Freedom Park Elementary School Earns Gold
 - FPES earned a gold award for having the greatest gain in students meeting and exceeding state standards.
 - FPES has also been recognized as a distinguished school in the state of GA for making AYP three consectutive years.
- FPES nominated to become a Blue Ribbon School.
